Welcome To The REG Temple
The REG Temple is the official website for actor, author and director Richard E. Grant.
Richard has appeared in over 80 films and television programs, such as Withnail And I, The Scarlet Pinmpernel, Jack & Sarah, L.A. Story, Dracula, The Hound Of The Baskervilles, Gosford Park & The Iron Lady. In 2005 he directed his first major release, Wah-Wah.
This website is unique in that it has been run and maintained by volunteers and fans since 1998. For more information on its origins, please click here.

I’ve uploaded the first batch of 60 pics from “St. Ives” to the Temple site. Sue W, who screen-grabbed this little lot, has told me that she has about 200 pics in total from the film that she’ll send – along with pics from other REG films – on CD’s. For now though you can see the first 60 pics by going to the Gallery section of the site and clicking on the appropriate link.

Just thought I’d add some images that Joan sent me regarding the Shooting Star Charity Galy event in May that REG will be attending. There’s a poster-type image which you can see here and a list of what’s happening, contact numbers etc. here.
I might also put a note about the event in the general “welcome” page of the site.

Joan emailed me to say that REG will appear at the Shooting Star Charity Gala event on Sunday 16th May 2004 at 7.00 pm, and that tickets for the event are now on sale (be early to grab the best seats as “circle” tickets will go quite fast).
The event is in support The Shooting Star Hospice for Children. For more information go to the Richmond Theatre website at www.richmondtheatre.net or try the Box office 020 8940 0088 (with booking fee) or Ticketmaster 0870 4000 868.
I’ll try to put a few reminders up on the site closer to the event.
Thanks Joan.

Denise sent me another article from the Legally Blonde 2 premiere which she found on the female.co.uk website. It’s hard to say exactly where the article originated, though I believe it may have been taken from the Empire Online website or maybe even the Evening Standard. Anyhow, whatever the source, the “new” article does have a pic and a few quotes from REG on the night, including:
“She’s a generation after the people who burnt their bras, my generation. Now you can have your bra and still get paid millions for a movie.”
You can find the article here.
Speaking of premieres…..Though we’re yet to find details or pics of the events, Sue W informs me that REG attended the “Peter Pan” premiere on December 9.
Sarah and Sue also emailed me to say that REG was at “The Lord Of The Rings”: The Return Of The King” premiere on December 11. Sarah adds:
“I’ve just been at the Return of the King premiere and just thought I’d let you know that REG was there (with family I think) and looked absolutely gorgeous. Unfortunately he was rather overshadowed by the fact that Peter Jackson was signing at that moment, but he looked good and walked straight in to the cinema without stopping for photos/interviews/autographs.
If we find out more then I’ll set the appropriate pages up (actually I’ll probably set them up anyway – regardless of new info or not).

YAY! It’s the dawn of a brand new year – and a very busy one for REG with his own production, “Wah-Wah” fully in the works! As per usual I thought I would begin the year with one of Pat’s calendar pages. Thanks Pat!
Speaking of calendars, we hope to have a very special one happening for 2004 (if everything goes well). I realise that it’s a little latish to organise a calendar at this stage, but I feel it’s something quite worthwhile for REG fans and, besides, it’s better late than never. :-)
You guessed it! Stay tuned for further news!
