In this weeks Heat magazine, it gives the date of the UK opening of The Match as July 9th. The film is described as follows:

“A group of losers and misfits must win a football match against superior opposition or lose their pub, Benny’s Bar. Can they pull together to save the day?”

It goes on to describe Max Beesley as a cheeky milkman who must fight his demons and assume the mantle of leadership. The nasty villain of the piece is none other than REG, described as “The definition of slime, owner of rival pub L’Bistro whose team looks set for certain victory” All of this set in the Scottish Highlands. Can’t wait!
