My deepest apologies for having neglected the site for so long. First I got a kidney infection, then I went away, then my modem went on the blink, but fear not, we’re back with some brand new stuff – Including the addition of the occasional picture or two in the news section (I’ll try not to post too many and slow the load times down though) and a trip downunder for REG!

REG has recently spent four weeks in Australia, on the Gold Coast filming a children’s film Hildegarde. Publicist Andrew Mackie kindly sent us an exclusive pic and a little blurb about the film. Click here to read it.

Maureen tells us there was a short article in the Sun Herald, October 29th 2000, page 24. Apparently REG stayed with Bryan Brown and Rachel Ward and had dinner with Peter Carey and David Williamson whilst in Australia.

Denise tells us that there is a children’s book of The Little Vampire which is a movie-tie-in cowritten by Angela Sommer-Bodenburg and one of the movie scriptwriters which has several pages of colour pictures, including some of REG. She also suggests that if REG fans are interested in Little Vampire, they can go to www.angelasommer-bodenburg.com, which is the author’s website, and from there you can go to the official site, the french site, the german site, and cinema.com which has some lovely pics, Apparently OK! magazine from the UK, Issue 237 Nov. 3 2000 pg. 66 has an article on REG and the film titled “The Man With Several Faces”

For those of us who haven’t seen The Little Vampire yet; Sue tells us the release date for sale of DVD & VHS is March 6, 2001. It will probably be available to rent at Blockbusters and such before then. Also International Release #3 DVD which will have Franz Kafka’s It’s A Wonderful Life (REG) and 12/13 other short films on it will be released in 2001 but no date was given for this.
