Joan was watching Channel 4 the other night when they played the latest Argos advertisement showing Richard’s personal assistant in an auction room getting ready to bid for Elvis’s silver coloured fridge-freezer. The bidding was going on around her when her phone rings with “Richard” asking how the auction was going? Because of the distraction the PA, of course, misses her own bid and the fridge is sold to another bidder. You then you see her flicking through the latest Argos catalogue at fridges and then it is back at Richard’s place where a new Argos fridge is now housed. Richard appears and is excited and says “Is this Elvis’s fridge” and she smiles and nods. He then asks her to take a picture with him and the fridge. He then asks her “Where did you get that camera?” and she lies and says “It is Elvis’s digital camera”!!!
