No Richard E. Grant At First Night Premiere

October8

REG did not attend the recent premiere of “First Night” due to the fact that he’s currently in Australia shooting the upcoming “Kath & Kim” movie. He does, however, appear in (in character) in this video report of the premiere, which you can view below. The report comes courtesy of The Big Picture, and features comments from the director, Christopher Menaul, as well as various members of the cast making their way up the red carpet.

And now a snippet. Paddy Shennan of the Liverpool Echo had this to say about the recent Rab C. Nesbitt episode:

I WAS pleasantly surprised by the amount of laughs in the first episode of the returning Rab C Nesbitt (BBC2, Wednesday) – although the word “pleasantly” probably shouldn’t be used when discussing Mr Grubby.

Richard E. Grant joined in the panto-style fun, playing a posh politician who found himself kidnapped and held hostage by Mrs N (a long story!)

Rab soon warmed to the situation, declaring: “This is a siege! This is Strictly Come Dancing for scum!”

Eh?

Absolute nonsense – but very entertaining.

Richard In Foster

And finally, SueW. explained recently that “It’s been difficult to find anything on the film Foster. I tracked down this clip and although REG doesn’t speak you can see him in character filming on location in clip.”

Foster stars Toni Collette, Ioan Gruffudd, Richard E Grant and Hayley Mills, and the clip comes courtesy of BBC News.
