Mucking About And Dressing Up As Withnail

May18

More new/old stuff for the site. As you can see I’ve been putting up quite a lot of new pages on the site of late – and there’s still PLENTY more to come! Hopefully it’ll make up for the time that the Temple was “out of action” earlier this year.

There’s an article about the Withnail And I coat that REG wore during the film. This one is dated February 2000 and is from the Gurdian Unlimited website. It’s called “Coat Tales” and you can see it here.

Another page about the Withnail coat can be found here. It’s essentially a reproduction of the “Withnail Clothing Collection” page from Andrea Galer’s own website – with descriptions, prices and ordering information for those wishing to buy their own “Withnail inspired” clothing. For those who don’t know already, Andrea Galer was the costume designer on Withnail And I. Since the Temple is a major “gathering spot” for people inspired by Withnail And I, we see the reproduction and inclusion of the page as a service to Andrea Galer.com – though it should also be noted that we do not profit whatsoever by sending potential customers to that site (well OK….It does give us a warm fuzzy feeing inside to think that we may be responsible for increasing the number of potential “Withnails” out there).

The last piece I have is from Pat and is called “Mucking About”. The article is about “The Serpent’s Kiss” and was from UK Empire Magazine. It was sent to Dominique way back in December 2000, but only made it’s way onto the “News” section of the site (ie. this part you’re on now) because I was just taking over the administration of the Temple site at that stage and didn’t quite know the “protocol”. I’ve since set it up on it’s own page and put it into the “Articles” section (along with the picture that was supposed to accompany it, but unfortunately didn’t at the time). I know, I know….Things move slowly around here sometimes. But hey! At least they STILL move! :-) Anyhow, you can read (or re-read) that article here.
