AMERICAN NIGHTS at the King’s Head Theatre takes a surreal and ironic look at fear, isolation and insanity in both family and society, at home and at work.

AMERICAN NIGHTS will begin with the supporting act, Christopher Durang’s ‘dentity crisis, followed by the European premiere of 2+2+2.

Set against a dystopian American backdrop where everyone eats the same food, thinks the same thoughts, and sleeps only to prepare for another day of senseless labour, 2+2+2 tells the story of a man trying to break free from his inner dictator (Richard E. Grant) and find his true love.

2+2+2 takes a close look at contemporary America and its influence on the rest of the global community as a society ruled by anonymous corporations, who manufacture conformity and eradicate the individual.

It is a social satire in the spirit of Bertolt Brecht, George Orwell, Franz Kafka and Samuel Beckett.
