The REG Temple is the official website for actor, author and director Richard E. Grant.
Richard has appeared in over 80 films and television programs, such as Withnail And I, The Scarlet Pinmpernel, Jack & Sarah, L.A. Story, Dracula, The Hound Of The Baskervilles, Gosford Park & The Iron Lady. In 2005 he directed his first major release, Wah-Wah.

Matt Smith has praised Richard E. Grant for his work on next week’s Doctor Who Christmas special. The 57 year old will star in the festive episode when it airs on BBC One on Tuesday and during an interview on ‘This Morning’ the other day Smith said he was born for the role, explaining:
“Do you know what he was born to be a Who villain. He pitches it on that perfect level and tone and he’s a wonderful guy.”

He also added, in another interview:
“He was a delight and brilliant at being villainous. Some actors are just made for the show and he is one of them.”
Tom Ward, who plays Captain Latimer, said of Richard that “I’ve only got one scene with him but he was delightful, funny and charming. To meet the man himself was an honour.”
A few days ago I was asked by Cat from the Filmmaking Review site to give a short interview on what it was like to run a fansite for REG. Well, that interview is now up online for all to see.
Lastly, yes I am aware that there are a couple of issues with videos not displaying properly on The Temple site at the moment, but I hope to have that issue fixed up soon.

This is Richard’s first Twitter Q & A since taking over the reigns of the account a couple of weeks or so ago. Before then the account was used to tweet what was happening on The Temple website and to keep followers up to date on what was happening in REG’s world. Suffice to say its good to have him in the chair now, and fans will begin to get more of an insight in regards to all things REG.
So ask away on the 22nd – past projects, new projects, acting, writing, directing, likes, dislikes etc. etc. If you have a burning question that you just need to know the answer to then this is your chance!
