Denise spotted “I Demand More Booze” shown on Film Four – a documentary about a group of students who took part in the Withnail drinking game.

Made-up as part of a men’s magazine article on Withnail (glossy men’s, Esquire or something) the idea was that every time the Withnail character has a drink, you at home have the equivalent! Yes some idiot even tried the lighter fuel!

There were also comments on game by Richard and Mr Robinson.

Nicola has sent me two pictures of Richard from the new “OK” magazine, with Madonna on the front.

The first is from The Evening Standard Film Awards that Madonna and Richard went to in Feb 2000, it’s one of those pictures where they are taking it of Madonna but Richard lurks in the background! You can check it out here.

The second is Richard with Elaine Page at the Calton Awards 2000 “Women in Film and TV”. You can see that one here.

Jo has sent me her first REG masterpiece to post. She writes:

“Thought I’d better come out from under the lurkers couch for a bit, get’s rather stuffy after a while. I am attaching my first REG masterpiece!! Sorry, the file may be a bit large. What d’ya think??

And as my Mum said at least a billion times over the Christmas period: “That film would be better if Richard E Grant was in it”. I couldn’t agree more!!”
