Katrina rallies the troops in response to the Scarlet Pimpernel.
All right, US REGimentals. The time for action is NOW. I propose an elaborate and daring raid on A&E headquarters, during which we will hold strategic programming execs hostage and force them to watch “Murder She Wrote” reruns (hey, they do the same to us…) until they capitulate and give us the second SP series! My arsenal of toy dart pistols will equip several of us, but we’ll need:
A) More firepower
B) Some kind of plan
Who’s with me? Viva la Revolution!
Katrina,
(who REALLY wants to see eps 4-6 NOW.)

Nicola inquired to the BBC about The Scarlet Pimpernel. In their returned call to her they responded the following –
1. There will NOT be videos made of the latest episodes.
2. There will be NO more SP episodes.
Sorry to relay bad news folks; but there you have it.

The Telegraph Magazine – February, 2001

Here is a picture of Richard’s wife Joan (first on left) from The Telegraph Magazine BAFTA Issue. Most of the magazine is devoted to BAFTA – how BAFTA (the organization) has emerged from the wings to take center stage, and how it will at last rival the Oscars.
The introduction states that the magazine employed Lorenzo Agius to take photos. 79 people in 20 different locations – which he did in 10 days. Therefore all photos were taken last month.
The group picture, which you can see here, was called The Specialists – (Joan – voice coach), a costume designer, a costume supervisor, production designer, hair and make-up designer and an agent.

And here’s a picture of Richard from the same magazine. Details of Richard’s photo were printed under the heading – The Charmer. The article states:
“Richard E Grant was a desperate, out-of-work actor when he landed the role of a desperate, out-of-work actor in Bruce Robinson’s cult 1986 comedy, Withnail and I, and an anti-hero was born. Loved as the archetypal English fop (The Portrait of a Lady, The Scarlet Pimpernel), Grant was in fact born and brought up in Swaziland where, to his delight, no one knows him “from a bar of soap”. His collaboration with Robert Altman (LA Story, The Player, Pret-a-Porter) continues with his role as George, the slippery footman, in Gosford Park.”

The final part to Denise’s story can be found here.
I’ve now consolidated the whole story into the one page (so it’s pretty long) but it’s only text so it should load OK – Not too slowly at all.
