Pat reports that The Little Vampire video is now available from Amazon.com. The DVD isn’t quite ready yet though.

Kate tells me that Richard will be appearing on “I Love 1987” on Saturday 10th March at around 9.10 (U.K. TV only I’m afraid). He will be talking about the making of Withnail And I, and possibly interviewing other stars.

REG In Drag, Videos & Pics From Serpent’s Kiss

March6

The March 2001 issue of British GQ has a one page article on the fashion photographer Rankin’s new book titled “RankinWorks”. A few photos from the book are shown; one of which is a pic of REG in drag! You can find that pick in this section of the site.

Meanwhile Pat has just sent me some information regarding PAL formatted videos of REG that can be found at http://www.blackstar.co.uk. It stocks “All For Love”, “Keep The Aspidistra Flying” and “Cold Light Of Day” as well as a few others. Pat also sent me some pictures of REG from Serpent’s Kiss which you can find here.

Sunday Times, News Of The World And Graham Norton

March5

Di informs me that the Sunday Times has a bit of an interview with Richard on Saturday night as part of “I Love 1987” on BBC2. At this moment it’s not known if there’s any new stuff or just a recycled Withnail And I stuff.

She also saw that there was a very nice picture of Richard on Graham Norton’s site and that by all accounts he “didn’t look too comfortable”.

Emma added that she too “noticed that he looked distracted” and that she didn’t think that he really wanted to be there and that he wasnt on there for long at all.

“I think he should have been on longer. He looked rather nice though. He wore casual clothes which is good because I prefer that in a way. Do you know what though? Just before he came on I hadn’t seen the first half and all I saw was Graham talking to Ginola, but then I had a sudden feeling that he was going to be on but I thought “No, he cant be?” and the next minute I saw him! There he was. I was in total shock.”

Emma also adds that she wasn’t sure whether any of the UKers had seen the magazine that comes in the Sunday News Of The World this week – dated March 4th – but there is a picture of Richard in it. Under the picture it says “For once he is keeping it zipped.” Richard is wearing a sleeveless puffa jacket and a white jumper. He is pulling the jacket up to his nose and you can see that he is smiling.

“I thought he looked like he was trying to cover up his wonderful smile. I really wish I had a scanner so you can all see it. The picture is only small but it’s still worth seeing.”

Thanks for the reports, guys!

To finish off there is an ammended version of Denise’s story “Kiss Of A Vampire”. To see it, simply click here.

More On Graham Norton Appearance

March4

Nicola told me that she managed to catch Richard’s appearance on Graham Norton last night. Here’s what she has to say on the matter:

“I did think for a brief moment that Graham was going to ask why Richard was so moody at the BAFTA’s when he asked “Was it a good night?”, but he didn’t. It was disappointing – when you think of what Graham is usually like – because I expected dirty questions, or a sex site search with Richard etc, but he did the fun stuff with the French footballer. Richard should have been on first and for the longest time!! Never mind.

I dunno how many messages I left on Graham’s site to get Richard on there…it worked !!!! Hooray!!!!

I’ll get pictures on my camera for you guys as soon as I can and send them to you lot :) Do the BAFTA’s too (cheers Annie!!!!). Anyone know where we can get a Sky One version of the BAFTAs from? It has more of Richard in it.”

Anna adds:

“Yep! Well I caught a bit of it [sniff]! He looked his normal gaggingly-gorgeous-self and looked quite fashionable as he always does! I didn’t see the interview with him but the show will be repeated later on in the week so check your TV Times! He did alot of smiling which is brillient incomparison to his mood at the BAFTAs! When he went on stage to present an award he didn’t crack a smile once! I think he must have been nervous! Congrats to Mary Selway who won an award for her outstanding contribuation to film! Keep up the good work!”

And furthermore Kate adds:

“I dont know how many of us saw Richard on “So Graham Norton”, but he was absolutely luuuurvely (no surprise) ever the witty gentleman, and didnt he look fab in what he was wearing – cream jumper, denim jacket and combat trousers! I’ve taped it – one appearance worth keeping i think!”

So there ya go!

To finish up todays news Hildegarde star Dayne Hudson has sent me a pic from the film which you can all look at by clicking here. There will also be an interview with Dayne in the not too distant future. So stay tuned!
