Sue also informs me that there’s a couple of pages in Hotdog magazine on Withnail & I released on DVD with some photos – amongst which are a few small polaroids that Ralph Steadman took of Richard & Paul.

“News – December 6th 2000 – Richard attended a “Supper and Carols” at the Chelsea house of Sally Greene and her husband Robert Bourne’s. Other guests included Lulu, Jerry Hall, Clive Anderson, Melvin Bragg et al.”

Sue is offering the Regiment the first option to purchase a still signed by Richard. There are a limited number available. The proceeds will be donated to The Waterford School. All the stills are 8 x 10 inches in size. Some are signed in blue ink and others in Black Sharpie. Some scans show only a partial signature; this is just the scan, none of the signature is cut off on the actual still. Sue had asked Richard to sign these stills for the Waterford School on September 11th (before anyone at the lunch were aware of what was taking place in America.) A few days after he signed some more for her. Any photos remaining unsold will be placed on auction to benefit one of the September 11th Funds.

Meanwhile Maureen tells me that she’s seen a poster advertising Gosford Park “coming soon” at the Dendy cinema at Circular Quay in Sydney (Australia). No actual dates yet though, but stay tuned Aussie REGiment types.

According to Sue the Christmas special which aired on British TV last year “Victoria Wood – All The Trimmings” was made available for purchase on PAL VHS at the end of this past November and can be found at many of the UK sites. Good news for those of us outside the UK with world wide systems!

Meanwhile Jolie has sent this pic of REG at a party with Lulu & Sam Taylor Wood and has therefore officially become the “last person ever to have had a pic posted on the REG Temple site for 2001!!” Big deal some of you out there might say?? Well ya gotta start somewhere*, don’tcha?!

According to Denise Richard appears to be “Productively employed on voice-overs for Channel 4 at present” – or so it seems sometimes! One instance of such being on a show called “Divas” which aired over the weekend (watch out for a repeat on E4) as well as the show which aired last week. It’s a trend I tells ya! Has anyone else heard of any REG voiceovers?

The only auctions that Sue will conduct for charity on ebay will be on the photos that Richard signed. So the first item is for charity. The rest are regular auctions. After the first signed photo charity ebay auction is completed there will be more charity items.

Sue is considering offering the REG Temple group the option of purchasing these first for a set price but she will decide on that in a day or two. Otherwise she will continue to offer the signed photos for charity on ebay.
