Gosford Park Dates – DVD And Then Sweden!!

April15

Sue thought she’d give everyone a heads up to those who would be interested, as apparently the Gosford Park DVD R1 (USA/Canada) is scheduled to be released to retailers on May 28th.

Meanwhile Emma adds that something must be very wrong with Sweden, as Gosford Park is due to be released at the cinemas there on September 6!!!

That’s rather a long time to wait, especially if it’s already on DVD in U.S.A in May!

Charity Pics, Events…..And What’s On TV

April11

Sue has received communication from Richard. He thanks those who donated to the Waterford School Bursary Fund through the purchase of the autographed stills and has added that he has written to the donors. Sue’s not sure if everyone who purchased a photo is on the list as some bought through eBay auctions, but at least Jolie will have a personal “thank-you” coming her way soon. Watch your post for that, Jolie!

Sue also adds that she still has some photos if any one is still interested.

Richard will also be appearing at a Charity Gala Evening which will take place on Thursday 13 June and is in aid of KIDS, a fast-growing national charity which strives to enable children with disabilities and other special needs to develop their skills and abilities. The literature adds:

“Make this evening a must on your social calendar and join Elizabeth Hurley, Richard E. Grant and many more stars on Thursday 13 June between 7pm and 9pm in the Great Room. Guests will enjoy champagne, vodka cocktails and canapés whilst browsing through the wonders of this magnificent Fair. They will be helping to raise much-needed funds for KIDS. Single tickets for this exclusive evening are £100.

The KIDS experience continues in the Ballroom which will be transformed into a magical and extraordinary landscape for the Déjeuner sur l’Herbe from 9pm to midnight. And for those looking for a walk on the wild side, lady luck will be waiting to challenge guests in the charity casino sponsored by Aspinalls Club. Single tickets for this unique occasion will be £250 and include admission to the Reception beforehand.

Tickets can be purchased either on-line or by calling +44 (0) 20 7359 3635.

KIDS is very grateful to the following sponsors for their generous support:

RAB Capital, Dixon Wilson, J. O. Hambro Capital Management Group, KiCap Management, Egerton Capital Limited, Anonymous

And finally, Denise informs me that FilmFour (Britain) will be rescreening Jack and Sarah on April 17th and then again on May 2nd. Warlock is on again (surprise surprise) next week – Monday at 8 p.m. on Moviemax 3.They don’t seem to be rescreening The Match at this stage though?

Sainsbury’s Article – How To Get Ahead In Life

April9

Yet another article…This time from Sainsbury’s Magazine. It’s over a year old now and was mentioned in the Temple news at the time, but now – thanks to Denise – it’s been typed up and is now on the site. You can read that here.

Denise has also sent me her review of Serpent’s Kiss – short and informal with no spoilers. You can read that here.

Hound Of The Baskervilles – Independent Article

April7

There’s a new article up on the site taken from The Independent earlier this week. It talks about the new Hound Of The Baskervilles film that Richard will be appearing in. You can read that here. According to cee-fax, they are all in the Isle of Wight filming at present.

Joann informs me that if anyone is interested there is quite a nice small picture of Richard in today’s Scottish Sunday Post advertising the film on Channel 4 tonight.
