Richard has appeared in over 80 films and television programs, such as Withnail And I, The Scarlet Pinmpernel, Jack & Sarah, L.A. Story, Dracula, The Hound Of The Baskervilles, Gosford Park & The Iron Lady. In 2005 he directed his first major release, Wah-Wah.
This website is unique in that it has been run and maintained by volunteers and fans since 1998. For more information on its origins, please click here.

REG is set to play a cameo role in a new $12 million dollar fantasy/comedy film for kids called “Tooth”. Other stars to appear in the film include Harry Enfield, Stephen Fry, Philida Law and Jim Broadbent. We’ll post more as it comes to hand.
Three more “snippets” have been added to the site. The first is “Celebrity Anagrams” and is taken from TV Choice Magazine. You can see that here.
The second is “Me A Sex Symbol” which you can see here and the third is a “Mini Profile” which you can see here.

Three Posh Nosh related articles today. Two courtesy of Rosemary and the third just a short snippet from someone else (I’m sorry, but I can’t remember who sent it?).
The articles from Rosemary aren’t that long either I should say – and one of them is “talking” to Arabella Weir rather than REG – but they’re all REG-related and at least have a pic of him in each one. Anyhow you can read Aga Saga here, Fast Food here and the snippet here.

Happy Birthday Richard!!!
It’s Richard’s 46th birthday today and on behalf of everyone from the REGiment we would like to wish him a happy day indeed.
Two more articles today. The first is courtesy of both Denise and Hazel and is about The Hound Of The Baskervilles. You can read that one here.
The second article is courtesy of Jolie and is about Posh Nosh. You can read that here.
Both of these articles are from December last year and it may be interesting to note that they’re both from The Daily Express – which of course gave us that insightful article a few days ago about Richard retiring.

I have a newish article about The Hound Of The Baskervilles that was sent to me by Jolie. Again I got this just before the site crashed but the article dates from December 2002. You can read that here.
I’ve also done some cleaning up around the place so some of the pieces that had previously appeared in the News section are now included in their rightful sections on the site.
So having everything crash and burn wasn’t all bad. :-)

Sunday 4th May, 2003
Channel 4’s “I00 Greatest Movie Stars” was narrated by none other than our Richard.
The premise of the program was that you’re given 100 names and have to select your top ten actors. Unfortunately Richard’s wasn’t included in the list.
The programme aired in two parts.
