New / Old Trailers

June22

OK, well believe it or not these trailers have been up on the Temple site for the past one or two months already but, for some reason that I can no longer remember, I hadn’t told anyone about them. So, to rectify this oversight, here is the trailer for Henry And June, here is the trailer for L.A. Story, here is the trailer for Monsieur N, here is the trailer for The Player and here is the trailer for Ready To Wear!

There is also a scene here from The Hound Of The Baskervilles – the part where Dr. Watson meets REG and the missus at Milperrit House and here is the last scene from Jack And Sarah!

Apologies to those who helped locate these films – you know who you are (cause I can’t remember any more). At a pinch I would think that SueW, Jolie and Denise alerted me to them, but if anyone else pointed one out then thanks to you as well. :-)

Phew! Glad I sorted that out! :-)

Doctor Who “Revisited” & REG Gets A Facial

June19

REG informs me that he’s currently recording the voice of Dr Who for the BBC digital web cartoon version, alongside Derek Jacobi, Sophie Okinodod, Craig Kelly and Diana Quick. It’s five episodes and titled “The Scream Of The Shalka” and is written by Paul Cornell. The cartoon will also be released on DVD.

SueW has sent me a snippet about REG from the June 1996 edition of UK Tatler Magazine. The article is about beauty tips and in one section of the article our intrepid reporter, Richard E. Grant, ventures forth and discovers the tips of the trade in facial beautification. You can see REG getting “prettied up” here.

Pimpernel Series Two:- Yes / No?

June18

I’ve just put up an article about The Scarlet Pimpernel which was sent to me by Jolie the other day. It’s originally from The Standard-Times and appeared way back in 1999. You can read it here.

While on the subject of The Scarlet Pimpernel, it now appears that we may have jumped the gun here at the Temple, as it’s not quite known at this stage whether the “series two” Scarlet Pimpernels are the same ones featuring our very own REG or whether they are another series altogether? At any rate we’ll attempt to get back to you as soon as we know one way or the other.

No Fishy Business For REG

June17

Jolie has sent me an interview REG did with UK Sainsbury’s Magazine back in March 1997. It’s a food-related interview which ties in nicely with Richard’s recent work in Posh Nosh (even though it has absolutely nothing to do with the program itself, but you know what I mean). You can read that here.

Speaking of things Posh Nosh, both Denise and SueW have been helping me out with setting up some new material from the series to go on the Temple site. This will include pictures, interviews and multimedia and should be up in the near future. Stay tuned!
