A “teaser” trailer for the upcoming webcast “Scream Of The Shalka” can now be seen on the BBC1 Doctor Who Website. It’s very short, but at least it gives you idea about what to expect when the episode premieres in just over a weeks time. To check out the clip just click the link above.
Also at the site you can see one of a limited edition set of four commemorative postcards to celebrate the release of “Scream of the Shalka”.
The cards, designed by Lee Binding and featuring Cosgrove Hall’s artwork, are available from selected BBC and specialist shops as I write.
Thanks to Sue W. for the updates.

Thanks for all of that, guys.

I’ve uploaded some scans from this month’s Doctor Who Magazine which were kindly sent to me by Stargazer. The scans should be large enough for people to read, but if some extremely kind person would like to type up the article for me then I will upload a text version to the site as well (Otherwise I’ll just work on typing it up myself in between other stuff. Hehe….that means it’ll probably be up there sometime next year or so, the way I type!)
Anyhow, you can see the article here.
I’ve also included an article about Paul McGann from the same magazine. There’s quite a bit of REG mentioned in it, ya see. You can read that one here and here..
Once again thanks are extended to Stargazer for these scans…..and Doctor Who Magazine, of course, for doing the original article.

“I was absolutely devastated upon hearing the news that Dick and Enid Eyeington had been murdered in Somaliland, East Africa last week.
Dick was headmaster at Waterford-Kamhlaba school that I went to in Swaziland in the early seventies. He was a mentor, geography master and all round first class teacher and Afrophile, as was his wife Enid. I had an unforgettable field trip with them to Lesotho where we found dinosaur footprints in the lava mountains.
My heartfelt condolences to their children Mark and Louise and to all the students whose lives were enriched by knowing these two extraordinary, unique and inspired individuals.”

A few months ago I received a nice little package filled with REG items from Pat Huba in the U.S. Since then my wonderful assistant, Amy, has scanned pictures and typed up words so that I can then re-format the results into web pages – the first of which has just been included on The Temple site.
In February 1996 Premiere Magazine published an interview with Richard, Paul McGann and Bruce Robinson on the eve of the 10 year anniversary since filming “Withnail And I”. It’s a cool interview and includes some very nice pictures – which I’ve set up as fully scanned pages – and you can read all about it here.
