The REG Temple is the official website for actor, author and director Richard E. Grant.
Richard has appeared in over 80 films and television programs, such as Withnail And I, The Scarlet Pinmpernel, Jack & Sarah, L.A. Story, Dracula, The Hound Of The Baskervilles, Gosford Park & The Iron Lady. In 2005 he directed his first major release, Wah-Wah.
This website is unique in that it has been run and maintained by volunteers and fans since 1998. For more information on its origins, please click here.
There may be some possible disruptions to the news section of the site over the next few days as I update the templates. Chances are that no one will be troubled at all (as I’ll be running two “sets” of news over the next day or so) but I can’t be sure that everything will run as smoothly as I’d like it to.
A New Year, a new site?
There’s been plenty happening behind the scenes so far this year. As I mentioned, way back in April 2004, the design of the Temple site was about to undergo some changes but other things seemed to get on top of me a bit and so the “release date” for the new look site was pushed back significantly.
Over the Christmas break I threw myself back into the task of updating, tossed out some ideas that I had been working on previously (well, put them aside at least) and started playing around with some new ideas and design concepts. You should start seeing some of the effects of these results soon as I begin to update the site section by section. This may mean that some parts of the site may not work as efficiently as normal as the changes are implemented but, hopefully, any problems that occur will be minimal.

Please can you post my best wishes to all on the REGiment and the loyal loggers-on to the website for all their continued and much appreciated support this past year. I have been so totally taken up with the making of Wah-Wah and the film is really wonderful and I cannot wait for it to get seen in 2005. I will organise a special preview screening early in the new year in London and will let you know when so that we can organise this in the best way possible.
