Comedy/Drama (The Villain)
The Match sees REG as part of an ensemble cast. He plays a working class Scottish salesman (someone was brave enough to cast him against type, he said).
Two opposing football teams wish to end a century old feud and the prize is ownership of the opposition’s local pub! It’s a very funny British movie according to REG! This film is set in the Scottish Highlands. Can’t wait!
And to read a review from someone who claims REG overacts, just click here. Hmph!

The Little Vampire – a.k.a. Der Klein Vampir (Germany) a.k.a. De Kleine Vampier (Netherlands)
Children’s comedy (Frederick Sackville-Bagg)
For Tony Thompson (Jonathan Lipnicki), third grade really bites. Hes in a new school, in a new country, and hes having trouble fitting in. But things change when Tony befriends a young vampire and goes on fang-tastic flying adventures, eluding vampire hunters and driving the countryside of Scotland batty.
Written by Larry Wilson (The Addams Family, Beetlejuice) and Karey Kirkpatrick (Chicken Run), The Little Vampire is a comedy the whole family can sink their teeth into!
Best REG line: “Betray us, mortal, and you shall feel my WRATH!”
“I think my dad likes you.”
“LIKES ME?!”

Drama (Stapleton)
Earlier in 2002 REG filmed the perennial Sherlock Holmes favourite "The Hound Of The Baskervilles" on the Isle Of Man for BBC1. Richard plays the part of Stapleton – who is the baddie in the story. Unfortunately for REG fans, Stapleton gets swallowed up by the mire at the end.
Best REG line: Probably "Aggghhh, save me!"

Action / Drama (Brewster)
When a film archivist comes across a sinister piece of film depicting an abduction spliced to the end of a decades-old government issued public information film, she teams up with a bored statistician to delve into classified archives.
For James Richards there are no surprises left; he is too much in control of his life. Sharon is a child of the video age who enters his life with a vengeance. Her all-consuming passion is to find the truth behind the film, as they both plunge into the world of paranoia and out-dated yet still-enforced official secrets.
However as they begin their search, all records of the film disappear.
This film stars Charles Dance, Cassie Stuart and Bill Peterson.
Nikki says it’s quite awful and REG is only in three scenes. Click here to see photos of his dodgy look.
